Godfrey, Illinois (KMOV.com) – Authorities in Madison County are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man.
Charles Roe, 36, of the 4900 block of Southwood Drive in Godfrey has been missing since Wednesday evening. Family members tell authorities Roe left to attend church services at St. Mary’s Church on Henry Street in Alton and has not been seen since.
Investigators have not been able to determine if Roe ever made it to church.
Police did find Roe’s 2009 GMC Canyon extended cab pickup truck was located in the rear of St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. Alton police and fire are searching the area of the hospital along with members of the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
Charles Roe goes by the name Chad. He is a white male, 36 years old with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5’10” and 175 pounds.
Roe’s family says it highly unusual for Roe not to check in and they are concerned.
