Lohse struggling as other relievers get to work

(BaseballStL) -- Another gorgeous day in Jupiter for the Cardinals. Temps in the mid 70's. Most of the Cardinals front line relievers threw their first bullpen session Sunday with the exception of Kyle Lohse.
Lohse threw Monday morning in the bullpen and struggled a bit with his breaking ball.  He bounced a few of them giving Yadier Molina some early practice blocking balls in the dirt.  Probably not Yadi's favorite thing to do first thing in the morning. Most of the relievers are throwing now, including newly acquired free agent Scott Linebrink.
Linebrink was part of the Braves team that imploded late last season allowing the Cardinals to make their dramatic push for a playoff spot. Linebrink said playing on that Atlanta team was like being in a car wreck 30 days in a row.
A few position players have reported to camp; Skip Schumacker and Tyler Greene have both been here for a couple of days. They'll be battling this spring for the second base job. Daniel Descalso is also in the mix there, but there's been no sign of him yet.
