(KMOV)-- Coming off their biggest and most exciting victory in years, the Missouri Tigers stay home to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday.
The Tigers will be looking to exact revenge against Nebraska after the Cornhuskers surprised Missouri in their Big 12 opener with a 56-51 win. Mizzou (21-4, 8-2 in the Big 12) has lost just one game since.
Like Missouri, the Cornhuskers (15-7, 5-4) are coming off their biggest victory of the season with a win over Texas last Saturday. The game should be a match of wills, as the Tigers score the most points in the Big 12 while Nebraska allows the fewest.
Nebreska is led by a pair of senior guards, Steve Harley and Ade Dagundro, who both average 12 points a game.
Missouri has a pair of seniors of its own who have been quite productive all season. The frontcourt duo of DeMarre Carroll and Leo Lyons will look to churn out another strong performance.
Since the Big 12's inception, the Cornhuskers are just 2-12 in Columbia but both wins have come in the last four years at Mizzou Arena.
With excitement about the Tigers taking over Missouri, no one was surprised to find out the game will be sold out. Tipoff is scheduled for 12:46 p.m.
