(KMOV) -- Police continue to investigate the death of a 2-month-old boy in Jennings Tuesday
Officials say they are waiting for the results of toxicology tests and do not have anyone in custody at this time.
Police were called to a home in the 8500 block of College about 3 p.m. Monday after the boy reportedly stopped breathing.
He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later. His cause of death was not released.
Authorities began investigating his death immediately and initially had the street around the home blocked off.
Homicide detectives said the boy’s death was suspicious. It will be an estimated six to eight weeks before medical examiners will have a cause of death.
