(KMOV.com) -- All schools in the Hazelwood School District were back open Monday. Several schools were closed on Thursday and Friday after a tornado damaged homes, schools, and buildings on Wednesday night.
Even though schools were back in session, one bus stop has to be moved because of storm damage. A bus stop for West Middle School that is normally at the intersection of Lynn Haven Lane and Howdershell Road was moved to Lynn Haven Lane and Deville Drive.
Schools will also have counselors on hand who can talk to students about the emotional strain of the storm.
"I want to make sure that we take care of our emotional need," said Superintendent Dr. Grayling Tobias.
Over the weekend more than 100 staff volunteers canvassed naighborhoods providing supplies to tornado victims.
Hazelwood School District's Transporation Director toured roads with Hazelwood Police to make sure they are safe for buses.
