FARMINGTON, Mo. -- A man wanted in connection with several burglaries in Maine has been arrested in Missouri.

KFVS-TV reports that 62-year-old Ronald Fuller of Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, was arrested Wednesday in St. Francois County, about 60 miles southwest of St. Louis.

Police received a call from a resident concerned about possible methamphetamine production in a car in a wooded area near Farmington. Police determined that the 1991 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible was stolen in Maine. Fuller was arrested at a nearby campsite.

Police say they found a large amount of cash and jewelry at the campsite. Fuller was being sought by several jurisdictions in Maine for burglary and jewelry theft.

He is jailed without bond.
