HONOLULU (AP) -- A company that manages a Hawaii dinner cruise says it mistakenly served alcohol to a 3-year-old boy.
Army Spc. Bingyan Cai says her son Michael's orange juice contained vodka while they were aboard the Alii Kai Catamaran on May 26.
The active duty mom tells Hawaii News Now (http://bit.ly/LjEQWA ) she noticed her son turning red, acting unruly and mumbling. She tried his drink and tasted alcohol.
She says she notified the boat staff and was given water, but was told not to make a fuss as to not ruin the ride for tourists.
Cruise manager Roberts Hawaii apologized in a statement Monday, saying they are mortified by the error. The family received a nearly $300 refund for the dinner cruise.
Cai says she does not plan to sue.
