DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Three men were killed when severe storms swept through the tiny southeastern Missouri town of Diehlstadt.
Missouri Highway Patrol spokesman Trooper Clark Parrott said late Monday three men -- a father and his two adult sons -- were in a mobile home when violent weather struck the Scott County area between 9 and 9:30 p.m.
"The mobile home was destroyed," Parrott said, adding that debris was spread over several acres and many power lines had been knocked down. The victim's identities were not released.
Parrott said there were no other reports of injuries but that troopers were still out searching the area.
