The Cardinals have five of the first 59 picks in this year’s draft including two picks obtained as compensation when Pujols darted for Los Angeles this offseason.
The team has the No. 19 (Pujols compensation), No. 23, No. 36 (Pujols compensation), No. 52 (Octavio Dotel compensation), No. 59 (Edwin Jackson compensation), No. 86, No. 117 and the No. 22 pick of each round from four through forty.
The draft ends on June 6.
