CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago authorities say a 19-year-old man has been charged in the 2011 shooting deaths of three people outside a South Side bakery.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Aaron Barnes of Chicago was arrested and charged Friday. He faces first-degree murder in the fatal shootings of Chanda Thompson, her boyfriend Shawn Russell and friend Cortez Champion. They were all 21.
Barnes is being held on a no bail arrest warrant. It was immediately unclear if he had an attorney. A listed phone number for Barnes couldn't be located Sunday.
The arrest comes months after prosecutors dropped murder charges against another teenager.
Authorities say the shooting is possibly gang-related.
The victims were sitting in a car outside of A Piece of Cake Bakery on Nov. 5 when they were shot.
