ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A building in north St. Louis collapsed
Friday morning, one day after a van slammed into the side of it.
According to reports, the building, near the intersection of Union Boulevard and Thekla Avenue, collapsed around 6:30 a.m.
On Thursday, a driver left the roadway and crashed a van into the side of the building, leaving a gaping hole. Police are still looking for the driver.
Building inspectors were called to the scene, but there was no official word on the condition of the structure until it collapsed Friday morning.
No injuries were reported.
