COLUMBIA, Illinois (KMOV) – Two people are in custody after a violent high-speed chase ended in a violent struggle with police in Columbia, Illinois on Monday.
According to authorities, the pursuit started in south St. Louis County and shots were fired before the suspects were taken into custody.
Donald Arndt, 34, and Brittany Pashia, 23, were both charged with four counts of possession of methamphetamines. Arndt was also charged with aggravated assault and his bond was set at $350,000. Pashia’s bond was set at $250,000.
Both are being held at the St. Clair County Jail.
