ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – The Cardinals have been hampered by an unsuccessful bullpen all season long, but the recent emergence of Barret Browning may be a sign of great things to come.
Location. Location. Location. Browning isn’t a flamethrower by any means, but the location and finesse of his pitches has gotten the attention of many around the Cardinals organization (especially after his two relief appearances this year).
The lefthander is perfect through his first three innings out of relief including shutting down the Pirates over two innings in his debut.
