(KMOV.com) -- Parts of a playground in south St. Louis were damaged after they were set on fire late Monday night, police said.
According to authorities this happened at the playground at Christy Park around 10:19 p.m.
A witness told police they saw three suspects; one white male and two black males set parts of the playground equipment and a trash receptacle on fire. They then saw the suspects run south on Kingshighway.
Fire crews responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.
The suspects have not been found and the investigation is ongoing.
