ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV) – Two people were rescued from a two-alarm apartment fire in west St. Louis County on Friday.
Authorities said the fire broke out on the second floor of a building at the Camden at Cross Creek apartments in the 12300 block of Wild Turkey Court around 4:45 p.m.
Officials said two people were helped out of a second-floor balcony because the flames were so close to their front door. No injuries were reported.
Multiple fire departments, including Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights and Monarch Fire Protection District, worked to get the fire under control.
It was not immediately clear how much damage it caused.
The cause of the blaze is unknown at this point.
