ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police are on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a bank in St. Charles Wednesday morning.
Lieutenant Senter with the St. Charles Police Department said the robbery happened at the Commerce Bank on 1st Capitol Drive around 10 a.m.
According to reports, the suspect handed one of the tellers a note demanding money. Police said the suspect also implied that he had a weapon, but did not show one. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no reports of injuries.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 6-feet tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen fleeing the scene in a two-tone blue Chevy Astro or GMC Safari van.
An investigation is ongoing.
