ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The Missouri Department of Transportation has cancelled its plans to close a section of Interstate 270 while crews blast rock for the rest of the week.
Officials said the work is being delayed as crews complete survey work in the area.
Interstate 270 was initially scheduled to be closed from Manchester to Big Bend during certain parts of the day.
MoDOT officials said rock blasting will begin again on Monday at 10 a.m. and will occur every weekday throughout the summer as long as weather cooperates.
