HEMPSTEAD, NY. – The so-called “hot dog hooker” from Long Island, New York walked out of court Monday after being sentenced to seven days in jail.

Cathy Scalia, wearing a bikini top under her clothes, was processed and released from the courthouse for time served. She was not sent back to jail.

Scalia spent five days behind bars last month after pleading guilty to selling sex out of the back of her hot dog truck.

She was arrested after an undercover cop visited her hot dog truck and asked her to perform a sex act, police said.

But Scalia, 45, has denied that she sold sex to the police officer and said he only got a lap dance before police arrived at the scene and arrested her.

Scalia has insisted she did nothing illegal. She said she is just selling hot dogs and snacks and then offers up her services as a stripper to anyone who is interested.

Scalia said Monday that her case has been bad for business.

She said she plans on moving her hot dog truck while she tries to get a peddler’s license.
