FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. - The body of a naked man washed up on a central Florida beach.
Flagler Beach Police Chief Dan Cody said Tuesday the man had been shot to death. The body was discovered by beachgoers on June 8.
The Orlando Sentinel reports police don’t know who the victim was or where he came from. Police believe he was in the water for three to five days.
Cody says the body could have been dumped from a boat out at sea.
The man weighed about 150 pounds, was 6-foot-2 and was between 50 and 60 years old. He had salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. Cody says there were no tattoos or other identifying marks.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Flagler Beach Police Department at 386-517-2023.
