(KMOV.com) – A man was shot and killed in north St. Louis County Tuesday night and there’s no word on any suspects.
According to reports, officers got a call to respond to the 8900 block of Edna Street in Baden, Missouri after reports that someone had been shot. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive, 27-year-old black male who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim has been identified as Conrad Adams, from north St. Louis County.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, but paramedics could not revive the man.
Officials said their investigation revealed that the victim got out of his car and got into a light-colored vehicle parked at a curb on Edna Street. As the victim exited the suspect's car, he was shot.
At this time, police have not identified a suspect, but know he or she was driving a light-colored vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
