Beltran shaken up after running into wall

ST. LOUIS (BaseballStL) – The Cardinals held their breath on Tuesday when Carlos Beltran came up limping after running into the right field wall in the second inning.

Beltran, who leads the National League with 18 home runs, was tracking down a fly ball off the bat of Orlando Hudson when it deflected off of his glove and fell to the warning track giving Hudson a two out two-RBI triple.

Beltran did stay in the game following the play, but it will be interesting to see how he will feel on Wednesday.
