ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- 3 people suffered serious injuries after the car they were pushing was reportedly hit by another vehicle on a highway in St. Charles early Sunday morning.
Officials say Mark Collier, 46, was driving eastbound on Highway 94 just east of Sherman Road around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, when he struck a vehicle being pushed by three pedestrians.
Highway Patrol says Collier was not injured, but the three people pushing the car he hit were.
Leighlen Gardner, 21, and Dematri Payton, 20, were both taken to St. Joseph's. Jordan Payton, 13, was air-lifted to Cardinal Glennon.
The accident is still under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
