FENTON (KMOV) -- A Fenton company is offering a first-of-its-kind service in Missouri. Confidential Canine Detections is a drug dog service that caters to businesses, schools, and now individuals.
The business has helped local police departments and schools, but now it is expanding services to businesses and parents who suspect their kids are dabbling with drugs.
One of Confidential Canine Detection’s dog handlers is a retired deputy; he has 25-years as a K-9 officer.
Since the company is private andd not a police agency, they say the aim is not to get teens locked up, rather to help parents get information they need to help a loved one get the treatment or intervention.
