BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV) – Police have arrested a man they say shot at a woman after robbing her at gunpoint in Bridgeton.

Neikos Walker, 22, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and three counts of armed criminal action.

Police said Walker broke into the victim’s apartment in the 3300 block of Claxtonhall.

Authorities said Walker held the woman at gunpoint while taking cash, a Sony PlayStation and a cell phone. He then fled the scene in a car waiting for him, according to police.

Police said the victim ran outside and around the apartment building, but was spotted by Walker. That’s when Walker fired at least one shot at her, police said.

Walker was eventually arrested and taken into custody. His bond was set at $100,000.
