(KMOV) – Police are searching for a man wanted for shooting a teenager to death at a Kirkwood home Monday night.

Nicholas Lunceford, 19, is accused of shooting 18-year-old Brandon Richards with a handgun at a home on Pleasant Court around 4:30 p.m. 

Lunceford fled before authorities arrived and Richards was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Lunceford and Richards both knew one another.

Lunceford's whereabouts are unknown and he is considered armed and dangerous.
