(KMOV) – Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a currency business in Cahokia on Friday.
According to police, a clerk was opening up the front doors of the First Currency Exchange at 2013 Camp Jackson Rd. around 9 a.m. when two men wearing latex gloves approached.
Police said the suspects forced the clerk to put money into a white bag before fleeing the building out the back door. Authorities said they implied they had a gun but never showed a weapon.
Authorities said one of the suspects was about 6-foot tall with a slim building. He was wearing a black t-shirt, cut-off blue jeans was white socks up to his knees. The other suspect was described as having a stocky build and wearing all black.
Police were still investigating.
