(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis police are searching for suspects after 17 people were shot in seven incidents.
No one died in the shootings, though one person is in critical condition.
Police said two females and three males – four of them teens - were shot while standing around a fence in the 4700 block of Highland in north St. Louis around 10:30 p.m. Monday night. Victims told police a fistfight earlier in the night may have spurred the shootings.
Three of the victims were shot in the leg, one in the rear end and one in the arm.
Authorities said about 30 minutes later two men and a woman were standing near a car in the 700 block of Aubert when a man with an assault rifle began shooting at them. That happened less than two miles away from the first incident.
A 25-year-old man shot twice in the shoulder broke his collar bone. A 28-year-old man was shot in the lower left torso a 26-year-old woman was struck in the rear end. The suspect fled the scene.
Police said another man was walking down the street in the 3800 block of Hartford near Tower Grove Park around 11:20 p.m. when another man got out of a van and demanded the victim’s belongings.
Police said the 41-year-old victim was then shot in the knee. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Authorities said a 26-year-old man was shot in the calf during an incident at Daddy’s Money Bar located in the 5300 block of North Broadway just after 12 a.m.
Police said the security team at the bar advised the victim there were people outside in the parking lot with guns. The victim then ran outside to his vehicle where he was shot and dislocated his right shoulder.
St. Louis Police said none of the seven shootings were connected.
