(KMOV) Hometown hero and St. Louis Cardinals third baseman, David Freese, signed a three year agreement on Monday to represent another hometown team, Imo's Pizza.
"Nowhere else can you get that unique, delicious square beyond compare taste than Imo's. So it won't be difficult for me at all to be the new spokesperson," Freeze says.
Freese will be the spokesman for Imo's television, radio, print and digital with new spots to be produced within the next month.
Imo's will also donate $10,000 to Variety, the Children's Charity of St. Louis, in a philanthropic program in conjunction with David Freese.
"We found out after his great 2011 Playoff and World Series performance that David loved Imo's Pizza and we've been trying to get together now for about a year." said Ed Imo, president of Imo's Pizza.
