Amazing grace brings teen who killed good samaritan to family's memorial

There are so many good people in the world.  Today, the family of Roger Kreutz invited the teenager who accidentally killed him to a memorial service for Kreutz.

Aaron Poisson grabbed a tip jar off the counter at Starbucks and ran out.  Roger Kreutz tried to stop him.  Aaron hit Kreutz with his car, fatally injuring him.  Aaron served 9 months in jail.  The day he got out, he met with Chris Kreutz, and that began the healing.

I've covered relatives of victims so many times and I am always struck and humbled by the ones who are able to forgive.  And that's the case today with the Kreutz family.  Aaron Poisson was in tears, a young man who also has paid for a rash act and whose life was forever changed by it.  He says there's not a day that goes by that he doesn't think of it and he hopes his story will be a lesson for others.  I wish him well.
