KMOV) -- The FDA is cracking down on companies that make baby food.
The agency sent warning letters to 17 food companies complaining that the makers advertise the food as healthy and nutritional but in reality appropriate dietary levels haven’t been established for babies and toddlers.
Nestle and Beechnut are two of the companies that received letters.
