A St. Louis executive is receiving international recognition for a project she calls "crazy."
As a vice president for Monsanto, Emer O'Broin travels the globe. During a trip to the African nation of Malawi, she said she was stunned at what she saw. "As soon as you get off the plane, it's apparent how poor the country is," she said. "You see it everywhere."
News 4's Larry Conners spoke with O'Broin and learned about the corn seed initiative she put in place, and the recognition he's getting. It's good news, for a change.
