On Tuesday, March 2, 2010, St. Louis County Police Detectives arrested Michael Patterson of the 3600 block of Estates Drive, 63033, on an active warrant for committing sexual offenses. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has issued charges on Michael Patterson, 49 years of age, for four counts of Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree and one count of Child Molestation in the First Degree. Patterson is being held on a $100,000 bond. A photo of Patterson is attached and can be viewed online.

The St. Louis County Police investigation began in August of 2009, when a hotline call was received by the Division of Family Services. County Detectives were alerted that a subject, under the age of 16 years old, advised that Michael Patterson was a foster parent to her and that she had been inappropriately touched by him on several occasions. The investigation led to a second individual that reported Patterson touching her when he was assigned as her foster parent. A thorough investigation resulted in warrants being issued on Michael Patterson on the above charges.

At this time, the St. Louis County Police are asking that anyone who believes they may have been the victim of a sexual crime by Michael Patterson or anyone else to call 314-889-2341.
