Dierbergs recalls vegetable dip following Salmonella scare

ST. LOUIS -- Dierbergs Markets has removed three varieties of vegetable dip from its shelves due to the possibility of a Salmonella contamination after a voluntary product recall by T. Marzetti Company.



The products are as follows: Southwest Ranch Veggie Dip (15.5 oz.), Spinach Veggie Dip (15 oz.). Fat Free Southwest Ranch Veggie Dip (13 oz.).

One of T. Marzetti's suppliers notified the company that an ingredient used in these varieties was a potential source of contamination. There have been no reports of illnesses associated with the identified products, and no other Marzetti-branded items are affected by this recall.

Customers may return the affected product to any Dierbergs for a full refund.
