Sunday's workouts are a bit shorter than usual due to Fan Day at Roger Dean Stadium. The annual event gives fans a chance to meet and take photos with their favorite Cardinals. You can tell it's a real popular event, as it's only 9 a.m. here and lines getting into the stadium are already pretty long. It even looked like some people slept outside overnight to be the first ones in. I'll definitely have pictures on the site later today to try capture the "fandamonium."
As for actual workouts today, Cy Young Award finalist Chris Carpenter is scheduled for a live BP session. Penny will pitch immediately after Carp. Both guys will sure get a test too; they're facing the heart of the Cardinals lineup in Albert Pujols, Matt Holliday, and Ryan Ludwick.
The rest of today's schedule features pretty standard workout drills, with a pregrame drill being thrown into the mix today.
I'll have photos on the site later today, so be sure to check back!
