KMOX's Mark Reardon provides update from Hawaii on impending tsunami

ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMOX)  -- Just before 10:00 a.m. CT/6:00 a.m. in Hawaii we spoke with Mark Reardon.

Now, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, at 11:19 a.m. local Hawaii time, which is 3:19 p.m. CT, the tsunami is expected to hit Hawaii.

A wide area of the Pacific is under a tsunami warning, and the center says there's even a possibility California and parts of Alaska could be affected.

Mark Reardon is safe and on the 15th floor of a hotel in Hawaii. We will continue to monitor this situation and bring you updates on the air and at KMOX.com.
