(KMOV)-- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a St. Louis bank.
This happened around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Louis Community Credit Union in the 4400 block of Chippewa.
Authorities said the suspect indicated he had a weapon while committing the robbery. No weapon was displayed though. The teller complied with the suspect's demands.
No one inside the bank was hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s or early 50s, 5'9" and 240 lbs. He was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, and a brown suede western-style hat.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous. Callers who provide information that leads to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
