Posted: Updated:
(KMOV) -- A woman is charged with harassment after being accused of going to extremes to try and get out of jury duty.

Zynthia Holmes, 36, faces up to a year in jail.

After an arraignment hearing on Wednesday morning, Holmes was released on her own recognizance. She has another court date on March 12.

On Monday, Holmes was serving as a juror when she became upset after being told she had to return for a second day.

Sources tell News 4 she yelled at deputies, stormed out of the courtroom and allegedly threatened jury supervisor Michael Deveraux.

Holmes also faces contempt of court charges after police claim she stormed out of the jury pool.
