Those are the words that a St. Louis Police Sergeant told an armed gunman twice. However on the second time the gunman pointed the gun at the Sgt. That is when the Sgt. fired a shot hitting the man in the leg. We are told that ems crews rushed the man to the hospital with a broken leg. He is listed in serious condition.
Investigators tell News 4 there were two other men with the suspect during the shooting. However one of the men took off and police are still searching for him. The second man stayed on the scene and police questioned him. At this point police do not know why the gunman walked around the 4800 block of Farlin with his gun drawn.
As for the Sgt. involved in the shooting he is currently on administrative duties. Which is standard procedure whenever officer involved shooting.
