Jupiter, Fl (KMOV) --

10:20 a.m. - Cardinals sluggers Albert Pujols and Matt Holliday joined camp workouts for the first time Sunday morning. Both took batting practice (I'll have video of BP later on today) then went right to the cages to keep working.

10:28 a.m. - Pitchers coming in from morning workouts. Big names that pitched today: Adam Wainwright, Kyle Lohse, and Kyle McClellan. Wainwright and Lohse are obvious starters while McClellan is making a bid for the 5th spot.

11:29 a.m. - Pujols talked to media for about 20 minutes just a little bit ago. Among many of the various topics discussed was his eagerness to work with McGwire this season. The two worked together today inside the cages for a good amount of time. They talked about the advantage of using a tee, as it really exploits what the hitter is doing.

11:55 a.m. - Pujols just left the clubhouse with his son A.J. Must be done for the day. A.J. hung out by Albert's side all day, even in the cages. He's the only kid running around here.

12:40 p.m. - Just talked to Holliday in the Cardinals clubhouse. One of the topics discussed was the big 7 year/$120 million contract he signed in the offseason. I asked him if it was nice to have that weight off his shoulders. "It's kind of a nice relief. You know you're going to be somewhere," Holliday said. "You start preparing for spring training. You can just train, workout, and not have to worry about someone calling."

Last year after signing a deal with the Oakland A's, Holliday entered spring training with the task of having to meet a bunch of new faces. Today he said it's nice to come to camp already knowing a lot of his teammates.

3:30 p.m. - Cardinals GM John Mozeliak just left for the day...I think that's my cue. If the general manager is leaving, I feel like I should too. Check back tomorrow for more updates; all the position players report tomorrow, but to be honest, most are here already. Julio Lugo and Brendan Ryan are pretty much the only players not here yet. It will be interesting to see when Brendan Ryan arrives, as he will be rehabbing his wrist injury for most, if not all, of camp.

I'll have updates as they become available...Be sure to check our the photos to the right of Sunday's action.
