What did you think about Tiger's apology today? I watched it. I thought he covered all the bases, but I also felt disconnected. I assume that's because I don't know Tiger Woods nor have I seen him on television for more than the occasional interview after a golf tournament. It couldn't have been easy for him to give that talk. I do understand why it was scripted - he had a lot to say to many different groups, like his family, friends, fans, employees, charities, and sponsors. There was a lot at stake. I do think saying that his children and his conversations with his wife are off limits is correct. I'm not so sure saying discussion about performance enhancing drugs is off limits is correct. One has to do with his personal life. The other.... his professional life. Perhaps the Mark McGwire situation is coloring my view.
