Police search for flasher targeting kids on their way to school

St. Ann Police are looking for a man who has exposed himself to three young girls since February 5th.  In each case, the man seemed to target girls heading to school in the mornings.  All of the cases have been reported in the 3600 block of Imperial Gardens Drive in St. Ann (that's near Northwest Plaza).

The victims range in age from 9 to 13 years old.  Each victim told police that the man approached them as they left their apartments in the mornings - shortly after 8 a.m.

The man doesn't say a word, but pulls down his pants and touches himself.

Each of the girls ran back home and called police.

A detective tells me there may be more cases that have gone unreported or simply can't be confirmed.

There is no vehicle descriptions, but the man is described as black, about 5 feet and 9 inches tall, bald.  He wears a jogging suit and a blue or gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police in St. Ann say they have boosted patrols in the area.  They are asking residents to call 911 if they see the man again.

Just over four months ago, Webster Groves Police reported that they had reports of another flasher in their area.  However, that man was described as a white male with blond hair:  www.kmov.com/community/blogs/reporters-blog/69164382.html
