(KMOV) -- An officer rear-ended by another driver was treated and released for injuries to his head, neck and back. He was sitting in his patrol car when he was hit by a car at O'Fallon Park on Saturday.
Authorities said a police officer responded to a call to help a driver at Interstate 70 and Shreve. The officer was in his patrol car at the scene when he was hit from behind by an oncoming vehicle.
Police said the officer had no visible injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver that hit him wasn't injured either, but was driving without insurance and a suspended licesnse.
