PLATTE CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A youth minister from northern Kansas City has been charged with causing a deadly crash as he reportedly drove youth group members to their church.
The involuntary manslaughter charge was filed against 25-year-old Damion Fassnacht this past week in Platte County Circuit Court.
Authorities say Fassnacht was traveling more than 80 mph in a 45 mph zone when he struck another vehicle.
The Oct. 11 crash killed 16-year-old Kelsey Morris of Platte City. Three other passengers, ages, 10, 16 and 17, were injured.
The Kansas City Star reported the driver of the other vehicle also was hurt.
