Belleville: Two men charged for attempted robbery of pizza delivery guy

(KMOV)-- Two men have been charged for attempted robbery of a pizza delivery guy.

Both 21-year-old Deandre Wilder and 20-year-old Edgar Holloway was charged with one count Armed Robbery.

Authorities said a pizza delivery driver for Domino's delivered a pizza to the 1100 block of Dawn Dr. on April 26. An unknown suspect allegedly opened the front door, grabbed a baseball bat with one hand and the victim's shirt with his other. He attempted to pull the victim into the residence.

Authorities said the victim resisted and was able to get away. The victim stated after he got away from the suspect, another unknown suspect allegedly exited the residence carrying a black 9mm handgun. The victim dropped the two pizzas and the hot bag/pizza carrier in the area of the residence and drove away.

No money was taken in the robbery.

Wilder is currently held on a $75,000 bond. Holloway is currently held on a $50,000 bond.
