Local Blues Artists Performing in Haiti Benefit Concert

In January (shortly after an earthquake hit Haiti), we told you about the House of Hope Orphanage:  www.kmov.com/community/blogs/reporters-blog/Volunteers-at-Haitian-Orphanage-Say-Leaving-was-Difficult-82010167.html

It's located just outside Port-au-Prince, but it run by a local group based in St. Ann, MO.  You can check out the group's official website here:  www.ahbz.org/

The orphanage sustained some damage, but luckily the children were not seriously hurt. 

Sunday, May 16th, local blues artists will put on a benefit concert at 2720 Cherokee St. in St. Louis.  The doors open at 4:00 p.m. and music continues through at least midnight.

  • Bob Case 6:15-7:00
  • Bottoms Up Blues Gang 7:10-7:50
  • Rum Drum Ramblers 8:00-8:30 
  • Kim Massie & The Solid Senders 8:45-9:30
  • Jake Austin and the City Limits 9:45-10:30
  • Blues for Haiti Allstar Jam 11:00-???

Tickets are $10 at the door.
