(KMOV) -- People living in an abandoned railroad tunnel under Tucker Boulevard must be out by Friday.
The city of St. Louis delivered eviction notices Monday to about 70 homeless people living in the tunnel. It tells them to be out on Friday at 8 a.m. or face trespassing charges.
The city is planning a project to repair Tucker Boulevard. This includes filling in the tunnel to stabilize the road above it, eliminating the tent-city the people call Hopeville.
