ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The two suspects being held in the murder of Megan Boken may be connected to another similar case, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Keith Ester, 18, and Johnathan Perkins, 18, are accused of killing Boken, a former St. Louis University student, while trying to steal her cell phone in the Central West End.
Six days earlier, two men got into a woman’s car and demanded cash at Brentwood Square. The men forced the woman to an ATM to withdraw cash after she told them she did not have any money on her. The men took the money and her cell phone before running away.
Investigators are looking for any clues that might link the cases.
