ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- A man is recovering after he was shot in the groin during an apparent drug deal gone wrong, according to police.
The shooting happened at the Mobil gas station on Grand and Natural Bridge around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
The 27-year-old victim told police he was approached by a male suspect who asked to purchase drugs. The victim told police he agreed, but the suspect then pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the groin.
The victim is listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
Police have not released information on any potential suspects.
