ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police took a man into custody after he allegedly shot his son and his son's wife during a domestic dispute in a small town just west of Farmington, Missouri.
Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home on Russell Street in Bismarck, Missouri around 8 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they reportedly found a man and woman wounded inside the residence.
According to police, a husband and wife were arguing outside the home. The husband's father reportedly told the pair to settle their dispute outside. When the pair tried to enter the home, police say the father shot them both.
The husband is listed in stable condition after being shot in the stomach, while his wife suffered minor injuries. Both are being treated in a St. Louis hospital.
The suspect was taken into custody, and is being held at the St. Francois County jail.
