ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOV.com) -- The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney has charged the husband of a 26-year-old woman who overdosed on heroin back in June.
Police say they have charged Anthony W. Smalley, 31, with one count of first degree manslaughter and a $100,000 bond has been issued.
On June 26, police officers found Smalley's wife, Charly Smalley, lying dead at the 200 block Wachtel Avenue. An autopsy revealed the cause of her death was a heroin overdose.
St. Louis County detectives say that their investigation showed that Anthony Smalley was responsible for administering to Charly before she died.
